He joins Eyewitness News from WKRC in Cincinnati, Ohio where he covered many stories that made national headlines including a break-in at an FBI field office and the subsequent fatal standoff, a mass shooting at a Louisville, Kentucky bank, and a powerful EF4 tornado that killed over 50 people in western Kentucky.
Before Cincinnati, Luke worked at WREG in Memphis, Tennessee. While there. he uncovered the fact that a county government psychologist was unlicensed, forcing the county to re-screen hundreds of sheriff's deputies, firefighters, and paramedics. His weeks of coverage of the county health department's mishandling of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout culminated in the health director stepping down and the state stripping the health department of its vaccine responsibilities.
Luke is no stranger to the Houston airwaves. He got his start at a local radio station where he worked throughout middle school and high school.
He loves the outdoors, exploring the city, and spending quality time with his pets. He's a cat guy and dog guy.
