Events Cancelled

We have two main items to communicate to you at this time of great challenge for our community.

Three Event Cancellation Notifications

  • Our Friday and Saturday, March 13 & 14, lecture and workshop with Ann Blake has been canceled. This will be rescheduled to a later date. Those who have paid in advance will receive refunds as soon as we are able to process them.

  • Our Friday, April 10 April 17, lecture with Randy Morris, has been cancelled. We may be able to offer this virtually, but, for the moment, we ask your patience while we determine the best way to do this.

  • JPA’s Saturday, April 11 April 18, event with Anne Ulanov has been canceled. According to the Jungian Psychoanalysts Association (JPA) they will reschedule this as the Public Health emergency subsides

Please Stay Tuned

Public Health warnings have lead us, along with many other local organizations, to make wise decisions to curtail in-person events to slow the rate of transmission of the Covid-19 virus, and protect the greater community. For example, the University of Washington, and other educational institutions, are shifting their operations online and will conduct all classes and exams virtually, over the internet for the time being. Many employers large and small, have asked employees to work from home. For many individuals, businesses, and organizations, this will pose economic hardship.

We at the C. G. Jung Society, Seattle, have heard from some of you about your wish that we continue to provide learning and discussion opportunities to nourish and maintain our community during these extraordinary circumstances. We believe that this is a good time for our Society to extend in one way or another into the online world, to further our own primary, educational mission of keeping C. G. Jung’s ideas alight and relevant to our ability to meet the challenges we face in our lives. We share your desire and want to let you know that the Board of Directors is working hard to determine how we might offer live, online programs that keep us connected. Please stay tuned for further announcements about online offerings.

We place a very high value on in-person events and this will remain our focus. We will, though, look to adapt in ways that complement our offerings and accord with our values.

Thank you for your understanding. Please continue to take care and keep yourselves and our community safe.
