Benefits of Membership

Membership in C.G. Jung Society, Seattle is a great way to connect with other thoughtful people in the Seattle area who are interested in learning about, applying, and building upon Jung’s psychological theories. Our community includes lay people, psychoanalysts, educators, students, and people from all walks of life who are inspired by depth psychology.

We meet to explore classical and contemporary Jungian ideas which probe beyond the rational to the inner focus and meaning of our lives—ideas which speak to the deepest spiritual problems of universal human concern. These opportunities help to broaden our understanding of self, others, and our world

Additional benefits:

  • Discounted event admission (our annual program of events includes nine lectures with subsequent workshops and occasional additional offerings). Our events feature renowned scholars, artists, writers, psychotherapists, and educators from the wider Jungian community.
  • No cost participation in certain study groups, introductory seminars, and special member events.
  • Use of our recently expanded library, featuring a research section which holds many rare volumes on Jungian thought.
  • Access to our digital media archive featuring audio recordings from 40+ years of lectures presented to the Society.

“Scholarliness alone is not enough; there is knowledge of the heart that gives deeper insight. The knowledge of the heart is in no book and is not to be found in the mouth of any teacher, but grows out of you like the green seed from the dark earth….But how can I attain the knowledge of the heart? You can attain this knowledge only by living your life to the full. You live your life fully if you also live what you have never lived, but have left for others to live and think.”
