Dr. Hoy Inducted into Royal College

On June 16, 2025, Dr. Hoy was inducted into the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.  The Fellowship of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine within the Royal College [FFPM RCPS(Glasg)] is a distinguished honor that recognizes the exceptional contributions and achievements of podiatric practitioners on a global scale.  Dr. Hoy is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

The Royal College, established in 1599, is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical institutions in the world.  This is a society that has seen its founder write the first English language surgical textbook (Peter Lowe, 1597), and its fellows discover aseptic surgery (Joseph Lister, 1865) and perform the first brain tumor operation (Sir William Macewen, 1879).
